Habaneros are aromatic chile peppers with intense and pungent heat. Their spicy heat and citrusy fresh flavor go well with so many foods, and they make delicious hot sauces and salsas. Habaneros are easy to grow, and do great in pots.

Our Red Habanero is the hottest one with 400,000 Scovilles – where the classic Orange Habanero has about 250,000 Scovilles.
While many people think of Habaneros as super hot peppers, they don't realize that they have a ton of flavor, too – they're not just all heat! Even the hot Habaneros are packed with flavor, not just Scovilles. Of course, if your spicy-adverse, you should try either of our sweet, flavorful no-heat Habaneros: Habanero Trick or Treat or the Habanada Habanero. These will add a ton of flavor to your salsas or other recipes but without the hot heat! We also like to grow these mild Habaneros to make a milder hot sauce or salsa – we'll use one hot Habanero, and a couple of the sweet ones to provide tons of that special Habanero flavor.
