There’s not just one kind!

We have not just one but TEN different kinds of Jalapeños! Grow any of these jalapeño seeds in your garden for adding to salsas, hot sauces, making jalapeño poppers, pickled jalapenos, and other recipes! Jalapeños are some of the easiest peppers to grow from seed, and many of them are some of the earliest peppers to harvest – so they're great for shorter growing seasons. These productive and pretty plants grow well in large containers, too! Growing different types of jalapeno peppers can ensure you have a great harvest so you can make all the salsas you want next season! Jalapenos also freeze well, so it's a great way to store your harvest for winter use.

Some of our jalapenos are EXTRA HOT while others like the TAM are pretty mild. Here's a list of our Jalapeños by heat, mildest to hottest:

TYPES OF JALAPENOS - Yellow jalapenoNuMex Jalapeño Lemon Spice -
One of our favorite jalapeño pepper varieties, this beautiful yellow jalapeño is nice and spicy and very productive! It has thick flesh and spicy flavor like the Early Jalapeño, but a lot more heat with 30,000 Scovilles!
