Jalapeño Lemon Spice NuMex Seeds – Spicy Yellow Heat for Your Garden
Add a vibrant pop of color and fiery flavor to your garden with Jalapeño Lemon Spice NuMex Seeds. This stunning yellow jalapeño delivers the thick flesh and bold spice of traditional green jalapeños but with an eye-catching golden hue and an extra kick of heat. Perfect for gardeners and culinary enthusiasts alike, these seeds grow into robust plants that produce early yields of dazzling yellow peppers.
Why Choose Jalapeño Lemon Spice NuMex Seeds?
Bright & Bold Flavor: These yellow jalapeños pack a punch with a Scoville heat rating of 30,000, making them hotter than traditional green varieties. Their thick flesh and spicy taste make them ideal for salsas, pickling, grilling, and more.
Early Harvest: Ready in just 65 days after germination, these peppers mature faster than most, so you can enjoy their vibrant color and heat sooner.
Striking Yellow Color: Unlike common green jalapeños, these peppers transition from green to bright yellow at maturity, adding a beautiful contrast to dishes and garden beds.
Easy to Grow: Whether you're a beginner or an expert gardener, these heirloom, open-pollinated seeds thrive in gardens or large containers, producing 24" tall plants with 3" long pods.
Each packet contains 10 seeds.
Growing Tips for Success
Start your Jalapeño Lemon Spice NuMex Seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 1/4" deep in sterile soil, keep them moist, and provide warmth (85°F) and bright light for optimal germination. Transplant seedlings when they develop 6 true leaves, spacing them 30" apart in nutrient-rich soil or 5-gallon containers.
Harvest when peppers reach full size and their sunny yellow color shines. These GMO-free seeds ensure a natural, healthy crop every time.
Perfect for Spice Lovers & Gardeners

Wow, these are HOT!! Very productive plants, one of the earliest peppers to have pods on the plant. I also picked some of them green and they are still nice and hot when green. Perfect in salsa, or for spicy poppers. If you are tired of mild jalapenos, this one's for you! I love them. My husband, who've I turned into a lover of all things spicy, will even try a popper or two of these along with our milder regular early Jalapenos and Jalapeno Jaloro which we also grow. The Jaloros are fun as they start out in pale yellow from the get-go, whereas these Lemon Spice are the usual Jalapeno green before they turn to bright yellow. I love that you have so many varieties of jalapenos, we'll like to grow them all over the years.
A smaller, spicier, colorful, flavorful jalapeño. I have bought these from here a few times over the years. I grow these and the orange spice jalapeños every year. The seeds save well too. I like to mix the orange, yellow, green and red together for a colorful salsa with a kick!
These plants were super healthy all season long and produced a LOT of fruit. They'll add heat and color to any dish. They made my cowboy candy and pickled jalapeños extra special!
These beautiful yellow jalapenos are nice and HOT! Just how I like my jalapenos. When some other jalapeno varieties tend to be more mild, these have the spicy kick I'm looking for to use for poppers or in salsa or hot sauce. They also grew super fast and kept producing all summer. We also picked them when they were green at first, and they still packed some heat and good flavor. The yellow ones of course had more flavor, but sometimes you want your jalapenos sooner so picking them green is also a great option. I am going to grow these every year!
Great color, superb heat, these made amazing salsa and killer-hot poppers!
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey
So I have to thank you for the lemon spice jap seeds last fall. I had 100% germination, even with the 2 Xtra seeds you included! I'm putting a new order together now for next season. Thank you!
very productive, lots of heat to go with the bright yellow color. Might be a winner for market farmers.
These were neat to see these turn bright yellow – we made them into poppers all summer, some of them were REALLY hot and others not as much, but they were all delicious.
These are our new favorite jalapeno seeds to grow – every seed sprouted, and the plants are loaded with jalapenos. We love the bright yellow color they turn when ripe, and also that they grow quite fast. These make awesome jalapeno poppers!
