Bhut Jolokia Chocolate Ghost Pepper Seeds - Extreme Heat with a Sweet Twist

Unleash the fiery power of Bhut Jolokia Chocolate Ghost Pepper Seeds, a devilishly hot yet surprisingly sweet variant of the infamous ghost pepper. With a scorching 1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units, these peppers are not for the faint of heart-but their rich, smoky-sweet flavor makes them a must-have for heat-loving gardeners and culinary adventurers.

Why Grow Bhut Jolokia Chocolate Ghost Peppers?

These chocolate-brown pods (3" long and 1" wide) mature from green to a deep, earthy hue, boasting rough, dented skin that hints at their intense heat. Unlike its name suggests, this pepper doesn’t taste like candy-instead, it delivers a complex, smoky-sweet flavor that elevates salsas, hot sauces, and spicy dishes to legendary status.

Growing Your Ghost Peppers

Germination Tip: For best results, soak seeds overnight before planting. Start indoors 8 weeks before transplanting, sowing ¼" deep in sterile soil. Maintain 80-85°F bottom heat, bright light, and consistent moisture. Germination takes 14-21 days. Patience is key!

Once seedlings develop 6 true leaves, transplant them into rich soil (30" apart) or containers. These Capsicum chinense plants thrive with attentive care, rewarding you with a bountiful harvest in 110 days.

Warning: Handle with Extreme Caution

These peppers are EXTREMELY HOT. Always wear gloves, eye protection, and a mask when handling seeds or pods. Avoid touching your face, and wash hands thoroughly after contact.

What’s Included?

Each packet contains 10 GMO-free seeds (limit two per customer). Perfect for home growers, chili enthusiasts, or anyone daring enough to tame the heat!

The color is absolutely great

Extremely hot version of the ghost pepper! And what a color... just looks wicked. Great seeds, most all of them germinated.

Blazing Hot & Delicious Chocolate Bhut Jolokia

This Chocolate Bhut Jolokia Ghost Chili is still the King of peppers! I think this is my favorite color of your Bhuts for many reasons: slow-building heat, great flavor, and beautiful plants. Great seeds, too, they pretty much all sprouted with my seedling heat mat so I had extra plants. Will grow these every year.
