A large, prolific plant originating in Virginia and North Carolina that produces huge pink beefsteak tomatoes often more than 1 lb. The flavor is excellent.

History: This old heirloom is though to be 1 of the 4 parent lines of the Mortgage Lifter. Its flavor is mild with a touch of sweetness. A favorite with market growers.

Open-pollinated, heirloom (75-80 days)

Plant Habit: Indeterminate. Plant Size: 6’-9‘.  Fruit Color: Pink. Shape: Flattened globe. Size: 8 -16 oz.   10 seeds

Giants!

These were huge and we loved slicing them for caprese salads or to put on sandwiches. They also make a great pico-de-gallo with your jalapenos, green onions and cilantro.
