Grow Giant, Flavorful Tomatoes with German Johnson Tomato Seeds

Experience the joy of growing your own German Johnson Tomato Seeds, a beloved heirloom variety known for its massive, juicy pink beefsteak tomatoes. Each fruit can weigh over 1 lb, offering a mild, sweet flavor that’s perfect for fresh eating, sandwiches, or sauces. Originating in Virginia and North Carolina, this prolific plant is a favorite among market growers and home gardeners alike.

Why Choose German Johnson Tomato Seeds?

Unmatched Flavor & Size: Enjoy the rich, slightly sweet taste of these pink, flattened globe tomatoes, often reaching 8-16 oz (or even larger!). Their tender, meaty texture makes them ideal for slicing.

Heirloom Heritage: An open-pollinated treasure, the German Johnson Tomato is thought to be one of the parent lines of the famous Mortgage Lifter. Grow a piece of gardening history in your backyard!

Prolific Producer: This indeterminate plant grows 6’-9’ tall, yielding an abundance of tomatoes throughout the season (75-80 days to maturity). Perfect for gardeners who love a bountiful harvest.

GMO-Free Guarantee: All our seeds are non-GMO, ensuring you grow natural, organic-friendly tomatoes.

Perfect For:

  • Home gardeners seeking flavorful, large heirloom tomatoes
  • Market growers looking for a customer-favorite variety
  • Anyone who appreciates the rich history of classic tomato cultivars

Start your tomato-growing adventure today! Plant these German Johnson Tomato Seeds and savor the taste of summer with every juicy bite.

Giants!

These were huge and we loved slicing them for caprese salads or to put on sandwiches. They also make a great pico-de-gallo with your jalapenos, green onions and cilantro.
