A 2nd & 3rd Generation!

Got these seeds in 2020, before the woorld fell apart. Saved seeds from that year grew easily and made more, highly productive plants. This year with record heat stopping my super hots dead in their tracks, the 3rd generation of seeds, saved from 2021, ignored the heat and made "like hell" producing 5 compact plants that produced lightly during the 105F to 115F temps in June, July, August; and then went crazy in September. The 5 little plants are now making a couple of pocketsful of beautiful, hot ripe peppers every week. These seeds are the best bargain I've ever had in hot pepper seeds.

Excellent, a little different

Very good germination rate. Attractive bright lemon-yellow pods with good habanero-level heat and a bright, almost floral flavor. Highly recommended.

2020 Scotch Bonnets

They definitely were a little punchier than the 2019 batch, overall taste wise the sweetness came out really well with them but are still hot enough for a good jerk for chicken or pork. they pulled away from the habanero taste a bit as well kinda a bit more on the floral or earthy side but still mild enough to be able to add into a dish without a overwhelming flavor either way so absolutely 10/10.

Sweet, hot, productive

Great plants, lots of Scotch Bonnet pepper pods in full sun. Seeds took a long time to germinate last year so I started them earlier this year and am using a heat mat to get them going faster for bigger plants to plant outside later this spring.

The hype is real!

These Scotch Bonnet pepper seeds grew into prolific plants with tons of peppers. Great flavor, these are delicious when made into Scotch Bonnet hot sauce. Plenty of peppers to make lots of batches to share with my friends. I will definitely be growing these again.

Delicious Heat!

These are delicious and beautiful yellow peppers! Super hot and fruity in flavor, they're perfect for making salsas or hot sauces, or to add to recipes like jerk chicken. I had a lot of peppers on my two plants, they were in full sun and fed with lots of homemade compost. We will be growing them again this year! :)

Low Numbers

Really nice healthy plants will 2 or 3 peppers. All my other peppers were very productive and in the same bed. Nice peppers but not enough to warrant the space.

Sorry to hear your plants were not as productive, these Scotch Bonnet plants' harvest can vary greatly depending on the conditions – we find that some years they go crazy with pods, and other years they're not as prolific. It all depends on the soil conditions, the weather, the amount of sun, and the amount of pollinator help. We find that pinching the first blooms will encourage more peppers to grow later in the season. Also, it's good to plant lots of flowers around your vegetable gardens to encourage bumblebees, bees, and other pollinators to assist with pollination. We hope you'll try these seeds again!
