Yellow Pear Beam's Tomato Seeds - A Sweet, Heirloom Delight

Brighten your garden and your plate with Yellow Pear Beam's Tomato Seeds, a beloved heirloom variety prized for its endless harvest of sweet, pear-shaped fruits. Introduced in 1983 by John Hartman of Indiana, this standout variety outshines other yellow pears with its exceptional flavor and productivity. Each bite delivers a mild, sugary taste perfect for fresh snacking, salads, or garnishes.

Why Grow Yellow Pear Beam's Tomato?

Indeterminate vines reach 6-8 feet, yielding a continuous supply of 1½" golden fruits from midsummer to frost. Their unique pear shape and sunny hue make them the prettiest tomatoes in your garden just like edible sunshine! Open-pollinated and non-GMO, these seeds preserve a 1700s European heritage, tracing back to pioneer kitchens and fur-trade routes.

Key Features:

  • Yield: Prolific plants produce hundreds of fruits
  • Growth: Indeterminate (73-80 days), thrives in full sun

Beautifully shaped little tomato

I wanted to try heirloom tomatoes so chose one pack 10 seeds of these yellow pear shaped tomatoes and the Mexican Midgets--which are fabulous as well. Started indoors with a plant light.
Very sturdy stems, very healthy plants, fruit is not ripe yet- but hundred of them are set and waiting to ripen.
6 feet tall as of 8-13-21
Sandia seed sent along really helpful instructions with the seeds. I know it made a big difference this year. thank you!
