A very large and very tasty tomato. Fruits are meaty and have few seeds.

Note, this plant can get huge! Be prepared with 5-6 ft. plus cages or similar. The sprawling plant can also be pruned a little shorter as needed.

History: In the early 1930s, M.C. Byle developed a large and meaty tomato. It was named after him: Radiator Charlie's Tomato. The tomato was so popular at his roadside stand, that Charlie paid off his $6,000 mortgage in 6 yrs. Byle's legacy is now called Radiator Charlie's Mortgage Lifter Tomato.

I have grown this tomato for two seasons now and it has been the most productive plant I have grown here in Southern Maryland. The tomatoes have an excellent , not too acidity , taste and are good for hamburgers and to make Mexican style salsa.
