These vibrant green, thin-walled peppers are a favorite among chefs and home cooks alike, offering a superior taste and low moisture content that makes them ideal for quick frying and cooking.
Why Choose Cubanelle Sweet Pepper Seeds?
Unlike traditional bell peppers, the Cubanelle pepper boasts a delicate sweetness and firm texture that enhances any dish. Whether you're sautéing, roasting, or stuffing, these peppers add a pop of color and flavor to your culinary creations. Their low moisture content ensures they cook quickly without becoming soggy, making them a top choice for gourmet recipes.
Easy to Grow & Highly Productive
These heirloom, open-pollinated peppers thrive in gardens and containers alike. Each plant grows up to 30" tall, producing 5" long peppers that can be harvested at the yellowish-green stage for a milder taste or left to mature to a bright red for a sweeter flavor. With a growth cycle of just 75 days, you'll enjoy a bountiful harvest in no time.
Planting & Care Tips
Start your Cubanelle - Sweet Pepper Seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 1/4" deep in sterile media, maintaining 85°F bottom heat and consistent moisture. Germination typically occurs within 7-21 days. Once seedlings develop 6 true leaves, transplant them into rich soil or large 5-gallon containers, spacing them 30" apart for optimal growth.
Packet contains 10 GMO-free seeds—perfect for gardeners of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned grower or a beginner, these easy-to-care-for peppers will reward you with a delicious and colorful harvest.

Great for salads or stir fries. Very productive. This was my husband's favorite pepper last year so we're growing more of them this year.
We loved the taste and the crunch of this pepper. Loved it raw or on a pizza, it was good all around!
Got hooked on them in Sicily and Spain. Fry till brown in olive oil whole. Sea salt and eat. So good
These are one of my favorite sweet peppers, the plants grow nicely and are productive with large peppers, which slice perfectly to sautee and toss with pasta, basil, cherry tomatoes and corn. They also make great stuffed peppers or sliced for sandwiches. My go-to sweet pepper!
Love these Cubanelle peppers - thank you for sending to Italy! I love growing and eating them.
