Rio Grande is Grand

I live in grow zone 5B and the Rio Grande out preformed the other Roma varieties that I had. It is sweet, delicious and it doesn't have a hard core that other tomatoes have. Will be planting again. Seeds had a good germination rate. Very Happy with Sandia Seed Company's seeds and their service.

I am in 7A and these tomatoes were much more successful than romas. These plants are still producing and we've had triple digit heat. I like these a lot.

Experimenting in Florida summer heat

We've grown these tomatoes during the regular gardening season here in Florida - they are, indeed, prolific and tasty. I just planted new seed (May 2) as an experiment to see if we can get these to set fruit in the miserable heat of a Florida summer. I have them facing east so they will get the full sun of morning and shade from the house for most of the afternoon. Fingers crossed that this will work - will let you know.

Wonderful Romas

I've been ordering growing this variety of Roma for almost ten years. Almost always 100% germination. Start seeds on Valentines Day. Plant outside around Mother's Day weekend here in the NW. The plants are very sturdy when supported properly and produce huge meaty fruit. Rarely have problems with blight or blossom rot like on the smaller Romas. Six plants give us all the tomatoes we need for canning and freezer sauces for the year. Great on salads, in home made salsa or added to guacamole. The neighbors love the extras.

I had looked high & low, and searched the web with many word combinations ‘looking’ specifically for my favorite chili, the Dynamite xx Hot… so I could grow my own. The peppers were sold in Colorado at select places during roasting season, but you couldn’t buy seeds for them… anywhere!

Prolific Peppers!

There's just something fun about growing a jalapeno that is light enough in color that some people think it's a banana pepper. LOL! I picked these just for color variety, and I'm very pleased that my plants have been loaded with them all season! We donated about 50 lbs of mixed peppers this year from our garden and I still had enough to freeze some and can more jars of recipes than we'll probably be able to use before next season. All my peppers were from Sandia Seed Company. I've never had such great pepper production before using these seeds!!

Tasty and prolific

This spinach germinated well, and produced way more spinach than I'd initially expected. It grew really well, was slow to bolt in the summer, and has a really nice mild flavor for salads or steamed.

Awesome peppers!

This was my first time growing these and I will definitely be growing them from now on. Great germination and very sturdy plants that have withstood some really high winds. Huge long peppers that are excellent green or red, very easy to peel skin.
