This tomato has an outstanding flavor and grows on potato leaf plants. Get ready to expect higher-than-average yields of reddish-orange fruits this season.

History: This heirloom was introduced from Sweden in 1985 and sets the standard for extra-early tomatoes. It produces beautiful red globe-shaped fruits with orange shoulders up to 3 weeks sooner than other tomatoes. If you can hardly wait for that first spring tomato, this is your best choice. Extremely cold tolerant.

I have a dozen sturdy tomato plants

from a single packet of seeds. 100% germination rate. I planted three of them in the garden so far..

The 3 seeds I've planted all germinated. Certainly viable!

I only used one of the three plants in my hydroponic DWC system and it has exceeded my expectations. I've got some very healthy flowering taking place at the moment and I expect fruit/vegetable formation within 1 to 2 weeks. I like Sandia seeds packets because they are nice to look at, of good quality, sealed well and the description and growing information is well done.

Survived a late spring snow!

Our Glacier tomato plant braved the Colorado spring snow and 29 degrees and survived! It can be cold-tolerant to 27 degrees! Great for the mountain short season, excellent flavor and nice and early. All around great short-season tomato for Colorado gardeners!

Best Short Season Tomato!

These are truly extra-early tomatoes, I was happy to harvest more red tomatoes this year thanks to this Glacier variety. I'll be growing all your short-season tomatoes next year so I avoid getting all my tomatoes in green come the first snowstorm. ;) Thanks!
