Looking for the Little Beak Pepper?
The rare Spanish Piquillo pepper is also known as the Little Beak Pepper and it is usually seen coming out of a jar. This super tasty sweet pepper with modest heat – nearly imperceptible – has both smoky and tart undertones.
You can't find this pepper easily because it received a European PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin) and cannot be commercially grown outside its Navarra, Spain region. But don't worry, you can grow this world-famous Little Beak Pepper in your home garden! That's right, Sandia Seed offers Little Beak Pepper garden seeds for you to grow them in your garden.
These delicious Little Beak Peppers are wonderful when roasted, peeled, and marinated in oil. Check out our Marinated Piquillo Peppers Recipe »
