The earliest pepper we carry at Sandia Seed are Sweet Chocolate Bell Pepper seeds. These delicious 3-4" chocolate-colored bell peppers are ready for harvest just 57 days after planting! That means these are the earliest pepper seeds we carry!
Other early peppers include our sweet Shishito Pepper Seeds, which are popular among gourmet gardeners and chefs and are ready to harvest earlier than most peppers at around 60 days.
If you have ever had New Mexican Green Chile, we know you'll also want to grow green chiles in your garden so you can experience the fresh-roasted exceptional chile flavor in all your recipes. Our earliest chile is our Mild Hatch Green Chile seeds, which is the most popular green chile to grow because of its mild heat, plus it matures early at around 70 days and grows well in short seasons (or for impatient gardeners as we all are!)
If you want super early peppers in your garden, make sure to grow these varieties above, start them early, keep them warm and plant them in full sun.
