Grow Nutrient-Packed Broccoli Waltham 29 Seeds in Your Garden

Experience the joy of growing your own Broccoli Waltham 29 Seeds, prized for their large 4-6" dark blue-green heads and exceptional flavor. This heirloom variety is not just delicious, it's a superfood packed with antioxidants and essential nutrients that support overall health.

Why Choose Broccoli Waltham 29 Seeds?

Broccoli Waltham 29 is an open-pollinated, non-GMO heirloom variety that delivers:

  • High yields of flavorful, nutrient-dense heads
  • Excellent cold tolerance (down to 20°F)
  • Multiple harvests from the same plant
  • Rich in vitamins C, A, B6, potassium, and fiber
  • Contains cancer-fighting sulforaphane

Easy Growing Instructions

For spring crops, start your Broccoli Waltham 29 Seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 1/2" deep in pots with growing mix and place in bright light. Transplant seedlings 2' apart after 5 weeks.

For easier fall crops, plant seeds directly in the garden 1" deep and 6" apart, thinning to 2' spacing when seedlings reach 6" tall. This cool-season vegetable thrives in daytime temperatures in the 60s.

Care Tips for Bountiful Harvests

Ensure your broccoli plants get:

  • Full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Rich, compost-enriched soil
  • Regular deep watering (mulch helps retain moisture)
  • Monthly organic fertilizer or compost tea

Each packet contains 50 seeds (plants a 24' row with 12 plants) and matures in just 85 days. You'll enjoy not just the main crown, but also delicious side shoots that continue producing.

Versatile in the Kitchen

Enjoy your homegrown broccoli:

  • Raw for maximum nutrition
  • Lightly steamed to preserve vitamins
  • Roasted or grilled for incredible flavor
  • In stir-fries, soups, and salads

Every part of the plant is edible, from the nutrient-packed crowns to the stems and leaves.

Start your superfood garden today with these premium Broccoli Waltham 29 Seeds! Grow your own health-boosting vegetables and enjoy the satisfaction of farm-to-table freshness right from your backyard.

Good Broccoli plants

Easy to grow - and you can cut off the broccoli heads and then it sends out side shoots that work perfectly as broccolini! Make sure to cut the heads before they start flowering, I overlooked a few and then they go to flower and aren't as edible after that.
