Wondering if your seeds are fresh? Sandia Seed has the date marked on the back of the seed packets in the lower right hand corner. We test and ensure that our high-quality seeds have germination rates above 85%, and we only sell the freshest seeds from the prior season. Our pepper seeds grow true to type, so you won't grow a pepper all season and find out it's not what you thought you planted! We stand behind our seeds with our Seed Germination Guarantee.
You can trust Sandia Seed for consistent seed quality, fast shipping, and accurate varieties, with repeat buyers growing multiple types yearly.
Storing Seeds:
Pepper seeds store best when kept cool, dry, and protected from moisture and light. Proper storage preserves high germination rates for years.
Keep in mind that older packets will remain viable for growing robust plants despite potentially lower rates. If you have a seed packet of ours that is a few years old, don't worry, the seeds are likely still viable! While older seeds may not have as high of germination rates as fresh seeds, they are still perfectly able to grow into robust, productive plants, so don't throw them away! Grow them!
