NuMex Jalapeño Orange Spice - This new hot and colorful orange jalapeño is great in the home garden along with yellow and green japlapeños. Orange Spice also gives market growers a competitive advantage for buyers desiring new colors of jalapeños. These orange Jalapeños also ripen earlier than most other peppers at just 65 days, so you'll be able to enjoy these beauties sooner than later. This year’s jalapeño party appetizers will be bright and extra, extra hot! It has thick flesh and spicy flavor like the Early Jalapeño, but 3x more heat. These go great with our fiery Orange Salsa Recipe! Plants are 24” tall and pods 2-1/2” x 1” wide. Capsicum annuum (65 days) Heirloom - Open Pollinated

In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into large 5 gallon containers. Harvest peppers when they are full size and orange.
All of our seeds are GMO-free.

super fast growing... happy to be picking some jalapenos in july - they aren't turning orange yet, but are very good green and they still are super hot.
These orange jalapenos are SPICY and delicious. Great color when ripe, but also deliciously hot when picked green. Very productive plants, fast growing.
Came up in 3 days thanks
These were productive plants and I made a few big quart jars of pickled jalapenos from them, they are super delicious and spicy with great color in orange.
Overall about 70% germination, very nice seedlings. Thanks.
