Carolina Reaper Yellow is a natural variant of the famous Red Carolina Reaper. It is beautiful with its bright yellow skin, that is smoother and thicker than its cousin. This pepper has rip-roaring heat that completely burns your mouth apart. Try it in your next hot sauce or put a few pieces on your salad to spice it up a lot! Yellow super-hot peppers are the most flavorful and are great for making hot sauces.

Pods are 2-1/2” wide and 2-1/2” long with bright yellow skin and a small stinger. Flavor is citrusy sweet, and not bitter like other super hots. The bushy plants can grow up to 4’ tall. Capsicum chinense (90 days)

*Soak seeds overnight in water before planting.

Germination Tip: Start indoors 8 weeks before transplant date, sow 1/4” deep. Keep soil moist, with bright light & bottom heat at 80-85 degrees F. Germination: 14-21 days.

ALL Capsicum chinense strains require a great deal of attention during the germination process. Moisture and a constant and consistent heat range must be maintained for all varieties. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, and a bright grow light above them, and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 14-28 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into containers.

We have grown Yellow Carolina Reaper alongside the traditional Red Carolina Reaper for a few years now and it is a customer favorite. The germination is always near perfect and it produces beautiful peppers on nice strong plants!

PROLIFIC and BLAZING HOT!!

I grew 3 Yellow Carolina Reaper plants from seed. I ordered from Sandia Seed Co. and they grew to be very large, robust plants and were absolutely loaded with peppers. These peppers are insanely hot, but have wonderful flavor for salsa's and homemade chili. I will definitely grow again.

Beautiful and Hot Carolina Reapers in Yellow!

I really dig these new Yellow Carolina Reaper seeds – what a great vibrant new color! Still super hot, these yellow gems are now my favorite pepper to grow. I like to grow these to make hot sauce and to add to salsas and chile stews. These have a great flavor if tamed with other ingredients. I also loved that nearly every seed sprouted, I have not had luck with such great germination with super hot pepper seeds from other seed companies. I will be growing these every year.

I had looked high & low, and searched the web with many word combinations ‘looking’ specifically for my favorite chili, the Dynamite xx Hot… so I could grow my own. The peppers were sold in Colorado at select places during roasting season, but you couldn’t buy seeds for them… anywhere!
Finally, as luck and persistence would have it, I discovered Sandia Seed Company.

Prolific Peppers!

There's just something fun about growing a jalapeno that is light enough in color that some people think it's a banana pepper. LOL! I picked these just for color variety, and I'm very pleased that my plants have been loaded with them all season! We donated about 50 lbs of mixed peppers this year from our garden and I still had enough to freeze some and can more jars of recipes than we'll probably be able to use before next season. All my peppers were from Sandia Seed Company. I've never had such great pepper production before using these seeds!!

Tasty and prolific

This spinach germinated well, and produced way more spinach than I'd initially expected. It grew really well, was slow to bolt in the summer, and has a really nice mild flavor for salads or steamed.

Awesome peppers!

This was my first time growing these and I will definitely be growing them from now on. Great germination and very sturdy plants that have withstood some really high winds. Huge long peppers that are excellent green or red, very easy to peel skin.
