Habanero Peruvian White Lightning - A very rare habanero with creamy white lantern shaped pods. This pepper grows quickly and produces fruit in great numbers. One plant can produce hundreds of tiny fruits. Great for making white hot sauce!

The white pods measure 1-1/2" long and 3/4" wide and grow on 24" bushy plants. Capsicum chinense  (90 days)

Heat Level: Very, very, extra, hot.  Scoville Heat Units 400,000

~ Packet contains 10 seeds.

Capsicum chinense strains require a great deal of attention during the germination process. Moisture and a constant and consistent heat range must be maintained. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into containers.

All of our seeds are GMO-free.

Unassumingly hot

Literally so hot I started crying. The spice is no joke. The color is quite unique in itself, a white pepper, never have i seen a white pepper before. It also has a interesting taste, it tasted floral?. First time germinating these seeds, these seeds took longer than my other peppers to germinate. Took about a little over a month to germinate, but the pepper has a high yield.

Excitingly different spin on a habanero

Excellent seeds. Surprisingly high germination rate - 100%! - with no special equipment (peat pellets in a covered tray on top of the 'fridge). The six plants that we ended up with have already produced very impressive yields of dozens of attractive little pods, 3/4” - 1.5”, ivory colored at maturity. Very, very nice flavor; basically the familiar earthy/smoky/sweet habanero but with an additional bright citrus note which is very appealing. Heat is significant, eyebrow-raising and sweat-inducing, but enhances the flavor of the food without even slightly overpowering it. These will be a star performer in our sauces, relishes, salsas and marinades from now on. Highly recommended.

Great for a White Habanero Hot Sauce

I grew Sandia's White Habanero seeds for the past couple years, they are great for making my popular white hot sauce. The seeds sprouted pretty quick with a heat mat under my aerogarden, and they transplanted well into the garden in late May. I plan to grow these every year now, great seeds.
