Trinidad 7 Pot Jonah
Trinidad 7 Pot Jonah - These Hurt Bad!
Jonah has a more fruity flavor than other 7 Pots and slightly higher heat. The surface of the pods are bumpy with some fruit growing Scorpion tails.
In the Jonah pepper capsaicin is present in large quantities in placental tissue which holds the seeds. Contrary to popular belief, the seeds themselves do not produce any capsaicin, but the highest concentration of capsaicin is found in the white pith on the seeds. Jonah is outrageously hot and produces a burn that is insane and keeps going. Capsicum chinense (95 days)
Warning: Handling this pepper requires extreme caution. Wear hand, eye and breathing protection.
