Radish - Cherry Belle Seeds
Radish - Cherry Belle Seeds
Cherry Belle Radish is one of the earliest radishes to mature in spring. The round, smooth, scarlet 1" roots have crisp, tender flesh that are perfect for fresh eating all season. Their attractive bright red color make them a desirable addition to the garden.
Radish seeds can be planted outdoors.
Sow directly in the garden 2-3 weeks before the last frost date.
Plant seeds 1/4" deep and 2" apart and rows can be 6" wide. They should come up in 5-7 days depending on soil and weather conditions. Sow in early spring for an early crop, and again every 3 weeks for an extended radish harvest.
They grow best in average, well-drained soil, and full sun. For mild radishes, mulch and keep watered to speed growth.
Each packet contains 200 Cherry Belle Radish seeds. Raphanus sativus. Annual. Open-pollinated, heirloom, non-GMO. Harvest in 22-30 days. $3.00
This packet plants a 15' row with 200 plants.

Radish roots and leaves are edible.
Crunchy raw radishes are delicious eaten whole from the garden or chopped and added to salads, and sandwiches. The radish tops are completely edible and have a coarse texture so use the young and tender leaves. They can be cooked like any other greens or used fresh in salads.
Features.
Cherry Belle radishes really are cherry red and are harvested when they begin to reach 1" in diameter. Radishes are usually the first seeds planted in the spring garden and the first thing harvested. It may take less than a month from seed to table. Radishes have the best flavor when grown in cool weather and full sun. Use thinnings in salads.

These were super easy to grow. Find to pick these bright red gems, and tasty too. They grow quickly, so this spring I'm going to be more diligent about succession sowing them so that we have a longer harvest! We also used the leaves in stir fries and soups.
These grew super fast, and were yummy in salads. Great seeds for begginners and kids as they grow so fast, it's almost instant gratification! :) We also cooked the greens with some sesame oil and garlic, delicious!
