This is a great collection of seeds to grow if you love Mexican food. Walk outside into the garden and harvest Jalapeños for pizza, Serranos for pico de Gallo and Fresnos for a pickle relish. These are some of the easiest peppers to grow and they do well in container gardens, too.

This 3 Pack includes one packet each of the following:

Jalapeño Early The best pepper for short seasons and cooler climates! These are some of the earliest peppers at just 65 days. Scoville 5,000 - 15,000

Serrano Tampiqueño - A little pepper with a unique hot flavor all its own. Small 2-1/4" peppers grow on 24" tall plants and 78 days until harvest after planting outdoors. Scoville 15,000-25,000

Fresno - Thinner walls and often milder heat than jalapeño. It can be used in most recipes calling for jalapeño or serrano peppers. Bright red 2” long and 1“ wide conical-shaped peppers. They grow on 30" tall plants and 70 days until harvest after planting outdoors. Scoville: 5,000

All 3 varieties produce an abundance of peppers all season long.

Click the links on each pepper name to see additional information.

Start your peppers early indoors so they develop good root systems before transplanting outdoors into warm garden soil.

Choose add to cart as a 3 Pack because purchasing these individually will not generate 15% off in your cart.

My Three Favorite Chilies

These three chilies (Jalapeno, Serrano and Poblano) are my go to chilies for anything I make. I use the Poblanos for any green recipe (I made a great Chile Verde) and I always use Serranos to spice up everything including dinner salads.

This 3-pack gives me most of the chilies I need. The seeds are high quality and have a high germination rate. Sandia has always been very good for my chilies.

Productive and tasty

Bear with me a moment. Like the rest of 2020, my pepper growing was mostly cursed. I started all of my seeds indoors on time for transplant then got busy. The peppers got leggy before I realized. I dropped my tray of pepper plantlings while taking them outside to get real sun one day; many peppers perished. The week I'd planned to transplant, we got a late frost (May!). More peppers died waiting for me to transplant, because I am bad at caring for indoor plants.

Of the 70 or so pepper seeds I planted, about 10 made it to the garden. Most were poblano. These little guys survived my abuse and neglect and gave me tons of the most beautiful, flavorful poblanos all summer and into the fall. I even found a couple in late November. These peppers became part of stew, Indian dishes, fish tacos, morning scrambled eggs, salsa verde, and more. The plants were tall and hardy, and the bumblebees loved them. I ordered this trio again for this year's garden.

Wow, what a story! Don't feel bad, there are no mistakes in gardening, only experiments! ;) And, it sounds like you had a great harvest despite the 2020 struggles. May 2021 be filled with lots more 'experiments' and successes! Thanks for sharing.
