Trinidad Douglah / Chocolate 7 Pot - Chocolate Version of Trinidad 7 Pot

This beautiful brown 2-1/2” super hot is worth growing. It needs very warm temperatures for the fruit to fully mature. Plants grow to 3’ tall.

Douglah could be the next World’s Hottest Pepper with selective breeding techniques. It's a very rare pepper outside of a few Chilehead hobbyists. This chocolate version of the Trinidad 7 Pot could be the hottest chile you will ever taste. It will melt your face and burn your stomach. Average Scoville Heat Units do not tell the whole story! Capsicum chinense (95 days)

Warning: Handling this pepper requires extreme caution. Wear hand, eye and breathing protection.

Heat Level: Crazy Hot Scoville: 1,200,000

~ Packet contains 10 seeds.

Capsicum chinense strains require a great deal of attention during the germination process. Moisture and a constant and consistent heat range must be maintained. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into containers.

All of our seeds are GMO-free.

Great Seeds

It is my first time growing hot peppers, i purchased the seeds at the beginning of April from a local shop in canada.
I planted all the seeds and by day 10 they all sprouted! Unfortunately our cold rainy season was much longer than expected and outdoor night temperatures werent suitable for the plants until the end of May.
I wasnt able to provide the best lighting indoors, but as soon as the plants were outside with the heat and sun they grew very fast! It is now mid-august, temperatures have been consistently hitting 30•(celsius) and i have full sized green peppers, things are looking good right now and i am hoping for a long summer.
There is some variation in the sizes and shapes of the peppers, (in my opinion it makes things much more interesting!) but i do have one plant that has produced a pepper that is nearly identical to the one in the photo! I am very excited to see what will happen next
thank you!
